At AB Specialists Ltd, we understand that every sailor and organisation has different needs — whether it’s a weekend getaway, a month-long training schedule, or a seasonal fleet hire. That’s why we offer a flexible and transparent leasing structure for all our sailing vessels, designed to suit short-term hires and long-term arrangements alike.
Short-Term Leasing (1–7 days)
Our short-term leases are perfect for individuals, families, and small groups who want to enjoy a day or two on the water without a long-term commitment. Boats are available for daily or weekend rates, with prices depending on the type and size of the vessel. These leases are ideal for personal use, events, or spontaneous sailing opportunities. We provide comprehensive briefings, safety equipment, and optional skipper hire for those less confident at sea.
Medium-Term Leasing (1–4 weeks)
For clients requiring extended access — such as sailing schools, summer holidaymakers, or professional regatta participants — we offer discounted weekly and multi-week leasing options. Medium-term hires include additional services such as route planning assistance, regular maintenance checks, and priority support. Our flexible scheduling and multi-location pickup/drop-off options make these leases ideal for multi-stop adventures or training programmes.
Long-Term & Seasonal Leasing (1–6 months)
Our long-term lease arrangements are designed for sailing clubs, corporate clients, and regular sailors who need consistent access to a vessel for several months. These leases are offered at preferential rates and include customised support packages. We can supply additional equipment, signage or branding for corporate charters, and even rotate vessels mid-term to suit changing requirements.
For seasonal use (e.g. May to September), we offer a pre-booking discount scheme and will work with you to reserve the right vessel in advance — ensuring availability during peak times. All long-term leases come with flexible service agreements, safety check intervals, and options to extend or upgrade during the lease period.
Corporate & Event Leasing
AB Specialists Ltd also provides tailored lease packages for corporate clients, team-building retreats, photoshoots, or promotional campaigns. Whether you need one luxury yacht for an executive event or several day sailers for a group activity, we can structure your lease around your itinerary, with optional branding, catering, and staffing available upon request.
Lease Agreement Terms
All leases are subject to a signed agreement that outlines the rental period, costs, deposit terms, insurance coverage, and user responsibilities. We require a refundable security deposit based on vessel type and lease duration. Each lease includes basic public liability and vessel insurance, and additional coverage can be arranged if required.
Boats are supplied fully cleaned, fuelled (where applicable), and ready to sail. Clients are responsible for returning vessels in good condition and reporting any incidents promptly. Support is available 24/7 during active lease periods, and in-person handovers are included at the start and end of all long and medium-term hires.
